German CVs are called "Lebenslauf." They're typically 1β2 pages, chronological (most recent first), and include a professional photo at the top right. No photo = your CV looks incomplete to German recruiters.
Your Indian degree (B.E., B.Tech, B.Pharm, M.Sc.) must be recognized. Check anabin.kmk.org to see if your university is listed. If not, apply through the official recognition portal at anerkennung-in-deutschland.de. For pharma and food science roles, contact the state-level authority in the city you're applying to.
Keep it short. Germans value directness and clarity. No fluff. No "I hope this email finds you well." Get to the point in 4β5 lines max.

Learning A1βB1 German before you apply will improve your response rate significantly. It signals commitment and gets you shortlisted faster.
